Why do I get an error when filling out the download or support web-forms? Is this my Firewall?
If you consistently see a page saying 'An error has occurred' after filling out one of the forms on our website, yet you can view the rest of the site without any problem, you may be
being stopped by your own Firewall software.
A Firewall is a program that runs on your computer (or on your Internet Server, if you are part of a larger network) that monitors Internet traffic in and out of your computer or network
in order to stop viruses, trojans and other unauthorized access of your computers. No Firewall, however, is perfect.
The downside of this protection is that you may be restricted from sending or receiving certain legitimate information. Web-based forms are one example.
If you use a Firewall for your Internet connection, try temporarily disabling it. This might be done by right-clicking the icon in the System Tray (bottom-right of the screen, next
to the Windows clock) or by double-clicking an icon on your desktop. If the Firewall is situated on another computer on your network, such as an Internet Server, you'll need to disable it there, or get your
network administrator to help. You can re-enable the Firewall as soon as you've completed the form or finished your download.
