Can I use Professional Investigator on my laptop/ notebook as well as on my desktop PC?
Yes. There are two ways of doing this - which you choose will depend on how you intend to use the second copy.
1. Networked connection
If you connect your laptop to your desktop PC using a network, you can set up the laptop to use the copy of Professional Investigator
installed onto your desktop PC. The advantage of this is that once set up, you don't have to do anything to run Professional Investigator
from the laptop other than connect to the network. The disadvantage is that you can only use it on the laptop when you're connected to the network, and not when you take the laptop away.

2. Separate copy
If you want to be able to access Professional Investigator
on a laptop PC while you are away from your office, you will need to have a separate copy installed onto the laptop, and then simply use the backup & restore module to transfer the data from one PC to the other, and back again.
You will need to purchase an additional license to do this.
