Proofpoint System Upgrade Tuesday, March 13th at 10:30 AM: Proofpoint will be upgrading the MCN spam and virus control system to version 5.0.3. The upgrade will take six to eight hours. The upgraded version will improve performance and back end control and resolve some issues we currently have with the Proofpoint system.  During the upgrade, normal mail will continue to flow. However, customers will have no access to the quarantine. Approximately two hours into the upgrade, MCN staff will have some access to the back end and may be able to help with any issues related to quarantined mail. Please note: The new system will have a slightly different address. The ending port number will now be 10020 instead of 10010. If you have a bookmark for the Proofpoint page, you will need to change it or make a new one after the upgrade. System administrators will need to allow access to port 10020 for access to the quarantine. We will post updates on the MCN home page during the upgrade.
